Leverage your sourcing, strategic thinking and business skills to expertly manage the contract lifecycle, cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships across diverse functions and locations, and enhance both personal and shareholder value.
What you'll do here:
- Oversee a portfolio of business and technology team contracts with a focus on expanding the IT footprint / capabilities both in Canada and globally.
- Utilize a risk-based approach and market analysis to evaluate the relevant business, security, and legal requirements for each vendor relationship, and engage in negotiations to address needs and mitigate identified risks.
- Oversee and manage the contract lifecycle (new, renewal, perpetual, etc.) to ensure compliance with corporate policies and governance, while leveraging expertise from cross-functional stakeholders
- Assess the contractual hierarchy framework, draft minor amendments using pre-approved legal templates, and administer contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Identify and escalate risks related to contracts and Third-Party Vendors, aligning with business needs and enhancing shareholder value.
- Cultivate cross-functional relationships and networks with suppliers, business partners, colleagues, and leaders across different functions, divisions, and geographic locations.
- Contribute to the execution of procurement continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring to the table:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, professional designation such as CPP (an asset), or related field .
- Experience managing multiple contract lifecycles simultaneously, with a proven track record of delivering value.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical skills in critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, and attention to detail.
- Be a team player.
- Proven experience at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic sourcing principles and the capability to leverage this knowledge to implement projects and enhance strategies.
- Must be able to adapt quickly to a changing environment and remain informed about the latest contracting practices regarding privacy, data protection, and market trends.
- Must possess a personable, effective, and confident manner, with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues and external vendors across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
