Full Job Description
Serves as driver of overall operational excellence and our high performance culture in our warehouse solution. Supports our highest volume and most complex stores by executing business objectives, managing change, leading and teaching teams, and living the culture. Primary responsibility for the management of the warehouse, including directing the work of direct report and fostering the warehouse's culture and associate engagement. Casts a positive shadow as a leader; by consistently demonstrating and advocating the company's values.

Key Areas and Tasks

Coaches and Develops for Success
• Accountable for selection and development of top talent within warehouse
• Provides coaching and feedback to direct reports, focusing on behaviors and results that drive learning and performance
• Consistently spends time on the floor engaging with team
• Promotes and displays an energizing and fun work environment
• Recognizes the contributions of others through direct feedback and recognition
• Provides support for coaching initiatives by observing supervisors conduct coaching sessions, reviewing materials and forms and giving feedback regarding delivery and language to use with associates
• Solicits and is open to feedback from team
• Follows-up with supervisors to assess progress on goals and owns and is accountable to ensure barriers are removed
• Conducts established cadence of touch bases with each supervisor to review personal and department performance and development
• Owns and is accountable for teaching supervisors effective techniques to manage associate relations and consistently enforce business and enterprise polices and procedures
• Understands supervisors' professional goals and provides development opportunities as appropriate
• Drives compliance and performance improvement around Safety and Regulatory expectations
• Leads change through positivity and growth mindset
• Generates, reviews, validates and actions various reports including ACES, Associate performance reviews, productivity/accuracy
• Works with associates to resolve issues such as pay, time off requests, etc., leveraging HR Direct and Human Resources partners

Successfully Drives Business Objectives
• Manages and drives end to end business objectives; develops and executes appropriate plans to achieve desired results in a timely manner
• Ensures warehouse operations are executed with excellence
• Owns and is accountable for teaching appropriate short and long term labor planning based on business forecasts
• Proactively monitors, communicates and reacts to business changes/issues
• Demonstrates effective problem solving and collaboration skills when appropriate
• Provides feedback and direction on strategies to improve operating efficiencies
• Identifies new opportunities for innovation and cost reduction
• Oversees physical inventory including scheduling, planning and follow-up
• Sets expectations to brand standards to ensure brand consistency that impacts overall business results
• Supports and collaborates with store teams on planning of floor-set activities and assists in executing inventory movement to stores in a timely manner
• Creates an awareness of and builds capabilities in loss prevention by fostering a culture of honesty and connecting the link between associate engagement and shrink
• Owns the development and implementation of warehouse strategy to reduce shrink
• Supports company goals and initiatives by facilitating the understanding and acceptance of change initiatives through their teams
• Empowers and delegates appropriately to leverage team's development and ensure business objectives are met
• Drives and is accountable for maintaining consistent practices between shifts
• Actively builds relationships outside of their own warehouse to understand and leverage external best practices
