Responsibilities- Lead the introduction of new products into Clariant manufacturing facilities and partner plants
- Support engineering and capital investment (CAPEX) projects by providing process expertise and product knowledge
- Identify, develop, and implement systems and procedures to optimize operational processes
- Drive the adoption of modern, efficient technologies to improve manufacturing performance and business results
- Lead process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business operations
- Investigate and troubleshoot equipment, process, and product-related issues to enhance performance and reliability
- Collaborate with and share best practices across Clariant sites and technical organizations
- Mentor teams in structured problem-solving using statistical analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with Clariant safety standards, ESHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements within areas of responsibility
- Support sustainability initiatives by contributing to environmental performance targets related to waste, emissions, water, and energy consumption
- Participate in process safety activities, including process hazard and risk assessments
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and/or statistical analysis tools
- Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within the chemical processing industry
