Key Responsibilities- This position will develop, plan, and execute improvement, customer satisfaction, and productivity processes which foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and respect for people. Effective communication to all levels of the organization is essential.
- Teach, coach, influence, and act as an ambassador and leader in contributing to the development of a continuous innovation culture and mindset.
- Using appropriate process improvement methodology, coach and develop project teams to implement Process Innovation, Lean, and Six Sigma techniques both in the office and at project sites.
- Facilitate cross-functional team activity to drive optimal performance in people, quality, material flow, and cost.
- Facilitate root cause analysis.
- Facilitate Kaizen Events
- Lead the development, deployment, and maturity of process improvement methodologies, including Process Innovation, Lean, Six Sigma, and other applicable continuous improvement practices, for assigned areas of responsibility both in the office and at project sites.
- Provide consultation and assistance to process owners regarding monitoring and measurement of key performance data for the company.
- Collaborate with Process Innovation Managers and Black & Veatch Solution leaders to assess the current state of operations, develop future state vision, and implement plans.
- Coach teams to manage daily improvement at the local level through the establishment and development of physical and virtual huddle boards.
- Develop, present, teach and deploy Innovation, Lean, and Six Sigma concepts.
- Implement collaborative planning approaches, including pull planning, look ahead planning, managing constraints, make work ready planning, weekly work planning, and analysis of and action on missed commitments in execution during all phases of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications- 4-year degree from an accredited University; Technical or Business degrees preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Qualified candidates will typically have significant (10+ years) Engineering, Procurement, and Construction industry related experience and significant Innovation, Lean, or Six Sigma experience
- Field experience in execution of construction projects.
- Demonstrated accomplishment applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other applicable process improvement methodologies to develop and sustain a continuous improvement and innovation culture.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, Power BI and other relevant software applications
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum 5 years industry related experience. 5+ years of experience supporting or coordinating cross-functional programs or projects in engineering, procurement, and construction or similar environments.
Work Environment/Physical Demands- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
- Typical travel could be up to 2 times a month for 5 days at project construction sites.

Final compensation is determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, internal alignment, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
State of Colorado: $108,944.00 - $163,438.00
