Process Improvement, Documentation and Training Manager

Position Overview: JAM Industries is seeking a Process Improvement, Documentation and Training Manager to support the standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement of operational processes across the organization. This position will be responsible for leading employee training and onboarding, maintaining standard operating procedures and operational documentation, and supporting process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure employees have the training, documentation, and tools needed to perform their roles effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and deliver employee training and onboarding programs. Create, review, update, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, training materials, and process documentation. Partner with operational teams to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Lead or support process improvement projects from initial assessment through implementation. Standardize processes and documentation across departments and locations where applicable. Work collaboratively with Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other business functions. Track training completion, employee understanding, and the effectiveness of implemented improvements. Support change-management activities related to new systems, procedures, and operational requirements. Ensure documentation remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with current business practices. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management, Organizational Development, or a related field. Experience in process improvement, operational documentation, training, or a similar role. Strong written communication and documentation skills. Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and training materials. Strong organizational, project-management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at different levels of the organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply-chain operations is considered an asset. Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement experience is considered an asset.
