Overview

The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $75,141.00 to $118,643.00. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

The Process Excellence Analyst translates business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support process improvement, automation, and system enablement initiatives. This role partners with business owners, the Process Excellence team, EPMO, IT, and Digital Innovation to map current-state processes, identify root causes, support solution design and testing, establish the baselines and post-implementation measures. and ensure that improved processes and supporting technology are implemented, adopted and documented.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Process Analysis & RedesignPartner with project team members to interview stakeholders, develop insights to address key process improvements, and functional strategic development efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of process improvement initiatives with organizational goalsMap current-state processes, quantify hand-offs, cycle time, rework, and manual effort, and document findings for the process owner.Conduct root-cause analysis to distinguish symptoms from the underlying business problem before solutions are proposed.Assist with redesign sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to define the target-state process.Document target-state workflows, SOPs, roles, control points, and approvals.Support automation, RPA, and AI deployments with requirements, configuration input, and validation.

Analysis, Reporting & DocumentationAnalyze and map key business processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Analyze operational and system data to support recommendations and measure outcomes.Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and status materials for stakeholders.Maintain process, redesign, and benefit documentation.Support benefits realization by tracking expected outcomes, adoption progress, and realized value from process improvement initiatives.Help develop meaningful performance metrics, baselines, and reporting measures to evaluate process effectiveness and improvement results.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Information Systems, IT, Finance, or related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3 years experience as a business analyst supporting process or technology initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing
  • Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferences:

  • 1 year experience in banking or financial services
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable requirements and workflow tools
