re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a talented, driven, and highly organized Process Engineer in support of our Reverse Logistics program as we expand our global engineering capabilities; NPI (new product introduction), (industrial) automation, maintenance, continuous improvement through process iteration & hardware development, deploy and maintain new internal tests capabilities keeping equipment time-to-repair to a minimum.
This role will be highly impactful to the business and very customer focused. In this role, you will interact with several cross functional teams including: Operations, Hardware Engineering, Software Development, Safety, Security, Procurement, Legal and 3PLs
As Process Engineer, you will have a solid foundation in lean manufacturing methodology; value stream mapping, time-study exercises, process line flows/operation, line balancing, problem solving, project management, data analysis, quality & safety systems, Kaizen, URS/FRD & BRD development.
Key job responsibilities
• Define, oversee and drive "design of experiments" activities to iterate on process and automate mundane & repetitive activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stake holders to improve processes through data analysis, software integration and hardware design & implementation.
• Identify and define new processes as necessary.
• Develop detailed user & functional requirement documents defining project success for effective scoping & budgeting for complex problems.
• Delivery; exceptional customer obsession, clear & concise communication skills, program/project execution within defined scope, schedule & budget,
• Develop documentation - SOP's. Visual Aids and RAMS for safe handling and process operation.
• Develop/review process flow mapping for optimal process in accordance with security requirements.
• Develop and implement RACI charts ensuring all stake holders are informed of responsibilities and eliminate ambiguity.
• Project Management to ensure stake holders are informed of responsibilities and eliminate ambiguity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, 3+ years of experience in using reporting and analytical tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Minitab etc.
- • Bachelor's Degree in Technical or business discipline or other related quantitative discipline.
- • Experience and knowledge of line assembly/disassembly process.
- • Advanced knowledge in administration of warehouse management system/shop-floor system.
- • Experience with physical layout of process flows, value stream mapping, time-studies for optimal efficiency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- • Excellent critical & creative thinking with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
- • Knowledge of lean manufacturing - process flows, line balancing, kaizen.
- • Experience with line automation (assembly/manufacturing) and sortation systems an advantage.
- • Experience and/knowledge of IT industry (server components) an advantage.
- • Practical experience with Lean Six Sigma methodology.
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
