Job Title:Process Engineer
Summary:The Process Engineer owns production area performance, resolving daily issues, supporting operators, and driving continuous improvements. Responsibilities include achieving targets in EHS, quality, reliability, productivity, and stable operations, while supporting key CapEx and improvement initiatives. This role leads and collaborates with cross-functional teams and supports the transfer of Global Process Technology and new product introductions through the NPI/NPT process.
Please note that this role requires on-site presence five days per week, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities Include:EHS
- Ensure full compliance with EHS regulations, site standards, and company policies
- Own and manage Management of Change (MOC) activities for assigned areas
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation (procedures, operating manuals)
- Support internal and external audits; drive timely closure of actions
- Participate in exposure reduction events in the area.
Compliance
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal company standards for occupational and plant safety as well as environmental and health protection
- Ensure proper documentation for the area(s) of responsibilities (e.g. Manufacturing Instructions, MOC process and Operating Manual)
Operations
- Provide independent technical support to operations for production, quality, and reliability issues
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, including complex process upsets and deviations
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Monitor KPIs and proactively drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity
- Ensure products meet specifications; lead non-conformance investigations and follow-ups
- Partner with operations to ensure effective shift execution and communication
Process Development/Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve yield, capacity, cost, and operability
- Support introduction of new products and process technologies (NPI/NPT)
- Develop, update, and standardize SOPs; support operator training and qualification
- Drive 5S and operational excellence practices within assigned area
Communications & Documentation
- Implementation of stringent change and documentation management in the operating area (MOC)
- Identifies, communicates and drives implementation of short term modification work
Qualifications:The following are required for the role
- Bachelor27s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field
- This position requires at least2years of technical/engineering professional experience
- Strong process troubleshooting and data analysis capability
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results
- Experience leading problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of DCS/process control systems
The following are preferred for the role:
- Two years of experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Outlook / Office / Excel/ work etc. 6 computer basics
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with PHAs, process safety, and process optimization
- Familiarity with maintenance systems, rotating equipment, and pressure systems

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $80,500 - $117,700
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
