Full Job Description
Position Title: Process Engineer - Manufacturing

We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer - Manufacturing to support complex electronics assembly and box-build operations within a growing manufacturing environment. This role works directly with operators, technicians, quality, purchasing, customers, and suppliers to develop and improve manufacturing processes, support new product introductions, identify potential failure points, and help drive new equipment and manufacturing system initiatives. Approximately half of the role is spent on the manufacturing floor, making this an opportunity for an engineer who wants meaningful ownership and real-world impact rather than a purely desk-based position.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and natural problem solver with strong manufacturing or process engineering experience who enjoys getting into the details, working cross-functionally, and learning new technologies in a complex, custom manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 / Year, DOE

Responsibilities
  • Review customer design packages, blueprints, and statements of work to identify manufacturing or process concerns and confirm production capabilities
  • Develop process flows, process FMEAs, risk controls and practical safeguards for complex boards, assemblies and box-build operations
  • Establish, refine and continuously improve manufacturing processes alongside operators and technicians on the production floor
  • Support new product introductions, new technologies, capital equipment projects and replacement or modernization of manufacturing equipment
  • Help implement and integrate a new ERP/manufacturing execution system with production processes and floor operations
  • Partner with quality, purchasing, procurement, quoting, customers, and suppliers to provide technical guidance and solve manufacturing challenges
  • Provide design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly input while supporting internal tooling and fixturing design

Requirements
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally within process engineering or a multifaceted manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with the ability to establish, own, and improve processes from development through execution
  • Experience developing process flows, conducting risk analysis or FMEA, and implementing practical process controls
  • Strong critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex systems and processes
  • Comfortable spending significant time on the production floor working directly with operators and technicians
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, purchasing, procurement, and other operational functions
  • Baseline computer proficiency with exposure to MRP/ERP systems, procurement processes, and basic design concepts

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA-qualified medical plan options
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous combined PTO, sick time, and holiday program
  • Flexible scheduling within the needs of the manufacturing operation
  • Supportive work environment that values work-life balance

If you're a hands-on manufacturing engineer who wants to solve complex problems, improve real production processes, and help shape the next stage of a growing operation, apply today.
