Full Job Description
We are seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical support to Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Maintenance in resolving manufacturing issues and driving continuous process improvement. This role uses lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving methods, and robust process development to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.

What You Will Do:
  • Support processing and set up teams to improve daily efficiency and continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in product launches to ensure a smooth transition from launch to production
  • Contribute to PFMEA activities for new product launches
  • Implement process improvements, affecting scrap, labor, and downtime
  • Lead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools such as 6S, SMED, and error-proofing
  • Identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions for process-related customer rejections to prevent recurrence
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding processing materials and equipment
  • Lead investigation teams focused on scrap reduction, process improvement, and cycle time reduction
  • Establish and maintain robust production processes for each mold
  • Establish and maintain optimal machine settings for each mold
  • Establish and maintain process standards for raw material dryers
  • Provide technical support and training to the processing and molding departments
  • Provide problem-solving and engineering support to Tool Room, Maintenance, and Molding

What You Need to Be Successful:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent injection molding processing experience
  • Minimum 10 years of related manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of thermoplastic morphologies and their properties
  • Understanding of polymer chain degradation and its causes and effects
  • Fundamentals of Systematic Molding certification
  • Master Molder 1 certification
  • Master Molder 2 certification

  • Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 - September 30.
