Full Job Description
Summary:
The Process Engineer develops manufacturing processes, tooling, procedures, and work instructions to support the manufacturing operations

Responsibilities:
• Defines product specific tooling and fixture requirements to support manufacturing operations
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities
• Assists in reviewing engineering design drawings and DFX reports prior to production release for manufacturability
• Monitors day-to-day production activities and make recommendations to improve efficiency and quality
• Supports a type or group of equipment, specifying, implementing and enhancing performance
• Participates in evaluating and qualifying new manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment
• Develops manufacturing procedures and work instructions for assigned areas
• Works with cross functional teams to address corrective actions for assigned areas
• Assists maintenance in developing preventative maintenance and calibration procedures
• Participates in DOE to develop optimal process parameters
• Develops product specific programs, recipes, and process parameters
• Complies and follow all company policies and procedures
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• 5+ years of electronics manufacturing experience; Lean Sigma Greenbelt; Familiarity with advanced technologies and applications; Master of advanced technologies and applications; Able to travel up to 10% of the time, including day and overnight as required • Responsible for project management and execution including plan, design, implementation of best-in-class processes and equipment including delivery systems that enhance performance, reliability, maintainability and cost of ownership.
• Propose and drive cross-functional projects.
• Design optimized human interfaces:
• Raw material delivery systems
• Product flow and material handling systems.
• WIP management and sizing
• Kanban sizing
• Ergonomic workstation design
• Process optimization.
• Factory and line layouts
• Execution of Lean projects and activities
• Time study analysis and capacity sizing.
• Systems support (e.g. BAAN, PFS...)
• PFMEA, DFA SME
• IE quote lead
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education:
• 4-year Engineering or Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
