Come be part of the Product Solutions Department at Imperial which has more than 140 year history in Canada. Our offices are located in Nanticoke, ON

What role you will play in our team

The Process Engineer supports one of our specialized teams within the refinery operations, including Process Engineering, Applications & Systems, or Environmental Engineering. You will work closely with integrated teams to support day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives, ensuring safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant operations. .

Responsibilities may include:
  • Collaborate with operations, reliability, and automation engineers to support safe and reliable unit operation.
  • Identify, develop, and implement operational and facility improvements focusing on safety, reliability, economics, and sustainability.
  • Communicate the status of unit operations, improvement opportunities, and operating costs to various stakeholders.
  • Support routine energy, environmental, and cost reporting
  • Influence others and drive toward solutions without direct authority
  • Develop new applications and maintain the performance of existing ones.
  • Support software/database requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
  • Previous refinery, chemical Plant or closely related engineering experience is an asset.
  • High degree of analytical and technical ability, able to communicate complex technical data clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail with handling high quantity and quality of work
  • Ability to effectively influence others without authority
  • Strong Interpersonal effectiveness
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required

  • The expected annual salary range for this position is $93,500 - $111,000. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
