Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, chemical, controls) with 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Preferred background in regulated industries such as consumer products, chemicals, or food manufacturing.
• Proficient in Rockwell Automation PLCs and FactoryTalk Batch/View software.
• Strong knowledge of ISA-88 standards for batch control.
• Experience with CIP/SIP cleaning systems and data historian/reporting platforms.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and process documentation.
• Understanding of OSHA and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of FactoryTalk Batch systems.
• Develop scalable batch recipes and automation strategies based on process needs.
• Integrate and standardize automation across platforms including PLCs, HMI, and MES.
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues to improve processes.
• Provide technical mentorship and support for major projects.
• Uphold safety standards and company values in all tasks.
• Participate in additional responsibilities as they arise, emphasizing safety awareness.
