Your Job
- TheManager, ProcessApplicationswill provide overall management of the Process and Applications teams, to create and sustain a collaborative, responsive and productive work environment that delivers valuable process solutions for customers in line with Company goals.
- The successful candidate will align the existing portfolio, and new development, of process technology solutions with identified market opportunities by actively seeking the voice of the customer andmaintaininga detailed understanding of market trends and influences.
- TheManager, ProcessApplicationswill set standards for high quality process engineering designs for separation solutions and products providing value to customers, while managing risk and ensuring profitable businessopportunityfor the Company.
- TheManager, ProcessApplicationswill oversee the preparation ofaccurateandtimelyproposals and quotations meeting customer requirements and contributing to bookings prospects aligned with Company strategy.

Leadership Responsibilities

- Manage and delegate responsibilities to ensure effective utilization of team members and other resources.
- Anticipate, detect,analyzeand resolve challenges faced in the areas of responsibility for the role.
- Prepare and conduct personnel performance evaluations and proactively manage and motivatecontributionof direct reports following Company Values.
- Departmental budget preparation,adherenceand control.
- Establish,documentand continually improve departmental processes,toolsand methods.
Specific Responsibilities
- Proactively research and evaluate opportunities for the Company to provide differentiated value-added process technologysolutionto customers, contributing to Company growth and profitability; this includes significantfacetimewith customers and other external market experts
- Consult and coordinate provision of process engineering and technology input and guidance to other departments (e.g.Sales, Technical Service, Systems Engineering, etc.).
- Final approval of proposals, calculations, equipmentselection, costing information, and engineering drawings such as PFD, P&ID, equipment layout
- Evaluate, approve, and create implementation programsfor,value analysis and innovative improvement projects in conjunction with Systems Engineering and other Company resources asrequired.
- Manage the process forreview ofclient specifications in Requests for Quotations (RFQ) in cooperation with Systems Engineering, prioritizing any testing or piloting activity that may berequiredcase by case.
- Manage thenew technology/ product introduction process in conjunction with Systems Engineeringthrough tosuccessful implementation.
- Lead major process design development, optimization, and standardization efforts.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Chemical Engineering Degree.
- 5-10yearsexperiencewith industrial process equipment applications.
- 1-5 yearsextensive experience leading teams responsible for systems applications engineering
- Exhibit sound business acumen with both strategic and task execution leadership capabilities, enhanced by an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Be proficient with the following software: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint, Power Automate or Power BI.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with ion exchange and complementary process separations technologies
- Experience with chemical process simulation software
- P. Eng. Designation in the Province of Ontario
