2026 Salary Range: $89,508.00 - $138,370.00/Year (includes locality)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an authoritative analyst and project lead for Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) programs. The incumbent independently plans, designs, and executes complex analytical studies, assesses multifaceted operational workflows, formulates actionable improvement strategies, and guides stakeholder implementation to eliminate non-value-added procedures and maximize resource utilization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Thorough knowledge of maintenance/production/industrial management policies, principles and practices.
2. Knowledge of a wide range of Lean qualitative and quantitative method used in conducting studies of major project areas that require application of CPI principles; and of Lean program goals and objectives, sequence and timing of operational events and milestones.
3. Skill in planning and conducting comprehensive CPI activities to affect the changes necessary to improve the Lean Maturity Level of the organization; and quantifying costs/savings derived from successful Lean activities.
4. Skill in preparing project papers and staff reports; and in organizing and delivering briefings to managers to encourage understanding and acceptance of new processes.
5. Skill in managing projects, the scope of which may affect the entire Complex.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to build rapport with others.
