  • Co-manage patients with complex medical and mental health needs alongside mental health providers.
  • Educate patients and families on managing medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes.
  • Provide medical consults and recommend diagnostic tests or treatments as necessary.
  • Deliver emergency care within licensure scope until specialized care is available.

Location: Anchorage, AK

Details
  • Position type: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant.
  • Setting: Inpatient behavioral hospital.
  • Full-time or part-time available.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health needs.
  • Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities alongside mental health providers.
  • Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health.
  • Provide medical consults and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed.
  • Deliver emergency care within your licensure scope until specialized care is available.

Requirements
