The Impact you will have in this role:

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of private markets and alternative investments by leveraging DTCC's position in the industry and your product expertise. You'll work at the intersection of innovation, regulation, and client experience-helping to unlock new growth opportunities for the business and its clients. As an Associate Director, you will be a commercial, strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to support the growth strategy of DTCC's Wealth & Investment Solutions business. This role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative solutions that drive adoption and growth of alternatives/ and other private market assets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, energetic and curious, and has familiarity with the associated processes and market landscape.

Your primary responsibilities:
  • Work with the product management leads to deliver on the specific initiatives prioritized and budgeted for clients needs and growth.
  • Generates revenue forecasts reports from internal systems, reviews product line P&L on a monthly basis, identifies trends in the broader market relating to product lines.
  • Identifies and evaluates opportunities to increase revenue or reduce costs within the business.
  • Act as liaison with Product Owner or a key product member in an Agile squad and partnering with internal teams for implementation of new features ensuring that all proposed changes are reviewed, feedback is incorporated and any impact is fully communicated to internal stakeholders; participates in dynamic P.I. planning sessions
  • Act as main business contact for internal control functions, operations and technology teams.
  • Identifies potential risks to achieving project objectives and elevates to appropriate management.
  • Assists in product training efforts for all touch-points to both internal and external customers, inclusive of documentation, publications, E Training tools, FAQ's.
  • Monitor project budgets for specific initiatives / projects.
  • Documents requirements in a clear and consistent manner through JIRA and other tools.
  • Ensures the product development process follows DTCC custom-designed methodology.
  • Expected to be SME in an area of the product and, where required, to attend meetings with clients to help with product area of expertise
    • Possesses in-depth knowledge of private markets and alternative investment processing including data structures, fintech platforms, custodian processing and fund administration processes
    • Has familiarity with alternative investment fintech platforms and how they interface with advisors, the back-office, funds, custodians and transfer agents
    • Understands the regulatory exemptions that apply to alternative investments and has working knowledge of non-traded REITs, BDCs, hedge funds, private equity and private credit funds
    • Effective in leading client working groups and gathering requirements to be used by application developers
    • Has experience working with file-based data delivery, JSON APIs and Snowflake
    • Possesses excellent desktop computing skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and AI tools such as Copilot and Kiro
    • Comprehends the servicing lifecycle of an alternative investments including creation, identification, purchases, redemptions/tenders, distributions, commissions and transfers

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience in product management or business development, preferably within wealth management, asset management, or financial infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents needed for success:
  • Strong understanding of or experience working in the market infrastructure, including the private markets space (e.g., private equity, hedge funds, real assets) and the associated operational ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills; ability to articulate a vision in written, verbal, and presentation materials.
  • Familiarity or experience of positive UX design methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile project management, associated concepts and commonly used tools, such as JIRA.
  • Ability to-effectively plan and organize multiple demands and competing priorities. Facilitates and leads external working groups and other relevant subject matter working groups.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
