The Regional Private Equity & Property Casualty Leader is responsible for driving client excellence, operational performance, and growth across the West Coast region. This role serves as a strategic partner to private equity firms, portfolio companies, producers, and carrier partners, ensuring consistent delivery of innovative risk management solutions, exceptional client service, and profitable business results.
The leader will oversee regional talent, operational execution, carrier strategy, and private equity initiatives while supporting M&A activity, portfolio company integration, and complex insurance program design.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrivate Equity & Client Leadership
- Serve as a senior advisor to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
- Support insurance due diligence, transaction activity, and portfolio company integration.
- Act as executive escalation point for complex client, coverage, and claims matters.
- Drive client retention, growth, and cross-selling opportunities.
Regional Leadership
- Lead and develop high-performing Property & Casualty service teams across the West Coast.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client excellence.
- Support recruiting, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
Business & Operational Management
- Drive operational consistency, workflow efficiency, and adoption of best practices.
- Monitor service performance, client outcomes, and key operational metrics.
- Support integration of acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives.
Carrier & Market Strategy
- Build and maintain executive-level carrier and wholesale relationships.
- Lead regional carrier engagement and market placement strategies.
- Support the firm's "Fewer and Stronger" carrier partnership initiatives.
Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Monitor regional profitability, retention, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Oversee quality assurance initiatives and risk mitigation efforts.
Qualifications- 10+ years of Property & Casualty brokerage experience.
- Experience working with Private Equity firms and portfolio companies preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in commercial P&C, alternative risk, and loss-sensitive programs.
- Proven leadership experience in a multi-office or regional environment.
- Strong client relationship, carrier negotiation, and business management skills.
- Active Property & Casualty License required; CPCU, CIC, ARM, or similar designation preferred.
Pay Range:$200,000 - $285,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
