Job DescriptionThe Private Banking Program & Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of the Private Banking Division (PRD) at First Hawaiian Bank. This position oversees and develops client engagement strategies, focusing on business growth and an exceptional client experience. The manager works closely with the Division Manager and various bank partners to enhance collaboration and understanding of the Private Banking program's value proposition. They lead initiatives to modernize and digitize services, develop employee skills, and facilitate deeper client engagements across the bank's lines of business.
The annual salary range for this role is $83,500-$120,000/year; commensurate with skills and experience
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee PRD client engagement strategies, including business development, brand development, and event planning.
- Collaborate with the PRD leadership team to enhance employee skills in digital transformation and client engagement.
- Develop and implement business development initiatives to drive growth in loans, deposits, and non-interest income.
- Manage Private Banking segment product and service initiatives, marketing, and promotions.
- Supervise the Private Banking enrollment process, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience.
- Lead and engage with bank partners to foster collaboration and understanding of the Private Banking program.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to communicate strategies and updates to bank partners and PRD employees.
- Directly supervise the WMG Product Manager and collaborate with the PRD Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and attend workshops to enhance business growth opportunities.
- Adhere to compliance requirements, ensuring all federal and state laws, bank policies, and customer confidentiality are maintained.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
