As a Privacy Specialist, you'll play a key role in building and scaling DraftKings' data inventory and privacy operations. You'll partner across internal teams to map how personal data flows through our systems and help ensure our privacy program is accurate, actionable, and built to scale. This is a hands-on role where you'll translate complex data environments into clear, structured documentation that supports compliance across global regulations.

What you'll do as a Privacy Specialist
  • Build and maintain DraftKings' data inventory and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) program.
  • Partner cross-functionally to map data flows, document data usage and retention, and define system ownership and accountability.
  • Support the development of a centralized system register and standardized inventory processes.
  • Embed data inventory updates into workflows such as privacy assessments, procurement, and change management.
  • Identify gaps in data documentation, ownership, or lawful basis and support remediation efforts.
  • Contribute to broader privacy initiatives, including assessments, third-party risk, and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Guide stakeholders through data inventory collection and documentation, leveraging tools and automation where appropriate.
  • Help develop training and documentation to improve adoption of data inventory practices across the business.


What you'll bring

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 88,000.00 USD - 110,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
