About the team PDPO (Privacy and Data Protection Office) is the organization to lead, supervise, and empower all TikTok's privacy work in an accountable and industry leading way. You will join a global team driving privacy best practices across TikTok. Our focus involves ensuring compliance with global laws, regulations and the adoption of privacy best practices. About the role In this role, you will drive multiple programs, in collaboration with colleagues around the world. You will partner with legal and technical teams to drive change across the organization. Responsibilities Support the program to identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with TikTok's third parties. This includes: - Support improvements to our monitoring program, managing the development of tooling and processes to assess third parties on an ongoing basis. - Working with industry leading tools to dynamically measure third party risks and report to various stakeholders - Conducting data validation and cleanliness activities to ensure accurate reporting and integration with other teams and tools - Partnering with cross-functional teams to further privacy leading practices in the offboarding of third parties - Assist in developing innovative solutions to help evaluate complex business, technology, and risk issues in a fast paced environment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, management information systems, or like discipline from an accredited college or university or measurable knowledge/experience from proven industry, military, defense, or government operations - 5+ years of governance risk and compliance (GRC) or related privacy, compliance, and security experience - Experience identifying, classifying, assessing, and mitigating privacy and security risks - Knowledge of controls frameworks and industry standard frameworks (ISO, NIST, etc.) - Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: - A highly motivated individual, with strong communication and relationship-building skills, and demonstrate a record of ongoing accomplishment and commitment to excellence - Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Adaptable to changing or emerging priorities - Experience working hands-on with cross-functional teams including legal, procurement, information security, business continuity, privacy, and IT engineering

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $134400 - $235600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
