Responsibilities

The Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization is essential to enabling TikTok's advertising business growth. We partner with business leaders in strategy setting and insights, revenue planning, sales & client incentive policy-making, driving operational effectiveness in tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive and fruitful partnerships cross-functionally. Responsibilities - Policy operations: Draft, iterate, and operationalize governance policies and rule texts. Align policy interpretation across cross-functional teams and translate rules into execution-ready materials, including policy language, alignment notes, and external-facing explanations for agents, sales teams, audit partners, and other stakeholders. - Risk data analysis: Build new governance items from business and risk signals. Define, validate, and maintain risk identification metrics, and use data to monitor potential policy abuse, abnormal incentive behavior, and emerging risk patterns. - Risk control architecture: Understand incentive policies, business workflows, and potential loopholes. Locate relevant data sources, map risk surfaces, and design detection logic that can support ongoing governance instead of one-off issue handling. - Incident response: Investigate abnormal issues raised by business teams, clarify root causes, form evidence-based conclusions, and drive follow-up actions with clear owners and timelines. - Project management: Partner with cross-functional teams to move governance capabilities from manual review toward tool-based and productized solutions, reducing long-term operational dependency. - Build operating cadences, documentation standards, and cross-functional communication mechanisms that keep policy, risk, and tooling work aligned across regions, time zones, and stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s) - 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, risk operations, policy operations, business operations, consulting, analytics, audit, trust and safety, or a related field. - Strong structured thinking and policy judgment, with the ability to convert ambiguous business requirements into clear rules, operating processes, and decision criteria. - Strong data sense and analytical capability. - Ability to understand incentive mechanisms, identify potential loopholes, and connect policy design with operational and data-based risk controls. - Strong project management skills, including stakeholder alignment, requirement clarification, dependency management, issue tracking, and execution follow-through. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to explain complex policy and risk topics clearly to business, technical, audit, and external stakeholder audiences. - Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with cross-regional teams. Preferred Qualification(s) - Experience using SQL, Python, or other data analysis and visualization tools - Experience in digital advertising, e-commerce, creator monetization, incentive governance, sales operations, or platform risk governance. - Experience designing operational metrics, risk dashboards, detection rules, or product requirements for governance tooling. - Experience working with audit, compliance, sales, agent management, or external partner governance scenarios. - Comfortable bridging business, data, and product teams, and able to turn repeated manual processes into scalable workflows or tool requirements.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121600 - $208800 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
