Full Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Privacy Engineering expert who can help refine the concept, define the technical architecture, and build an MVP for a global connected vehicle privacy platform that empowers customers to control data sharing while meeting regional privacy requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with various stakeholders from business, privacy, research, and quality department to refine requirements and translate high-level requirements into a practical implementation plan. - Develop the target-state architecture for privacy platform, including management of consent, privacy rights, data governance, and various regional regulatory compliance capabilities. - Lead development of an MVP/Proof of Concept to validate technical feasibility, user experience, and compliance objectives. - Define scalable architecture patterns supporting mobile application, connected vehicles, customer portals, and future global deployment. - Provide privacy engineering expertise, industry best practices, and recommendations for build-vs-buy decisions. **Desired Experience** - Strong background in solution architecture and MVP development of privacy management platform. - Knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, APPI, etc.) and privacy technology frameworks. - Experience with connected products, digital platforms, automotive, IoT, or customer data ecosystems is preferred. **Expected Deliverables** - Target-state architecture and technical design of privacy platform. - MVP/PoC implementation plan and prototype. - Recommendation for product roadmap and enterprise-scale deployment. **Requirements** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Privacy, or a related field; Master's degree preferred - 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, privacy engineering, enterprise architecture, technical consulting, or related roles - 5+ years of experience designing and implementing privacy, consent management, data governance, or regulatory compliance solutions - 3+ years of experience leading MVP or proof-of-concept development and translating high-level requirements into practical technical solutions - Strong knowledge of global privacy regulations and frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA, APPI, and related regional privacy requirements - Experience defining scalable architecture patterns for mobile applications, connected products, customer portals, digital platforms, or IoT ecosystems - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business, privacy, research, and quality stakeholders to refine requirements and shape technical strategy - Proven experience evaluating build-vs-buy options and recommending fit-for-purpose privacy technology solutions - Ability to produce target-state architectures, technical designs, implementation plans, and roadmap recommendations - Experience in automotive, connected vehicle, or other customer data-driven environments is highly preferred - Relevant certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, TOGAF, or cloud/security architecture credentials are a plus
