Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer
Onsite | Northridge, CA

We're seeking a detail-oriented PCB Designer with strong experience in schematic capture and high-density multilayer PCB layout. This role will support advanced electronics, including low-power wearable devices, high-speed electronics, multi-MCU systems, and Class III medical products.

Responsibilities
  • Design high-density multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex PCBs
  • Perform RF and high-speed signal routing, impedance control, length matching, and crosstalk mitigation
  • Create component footprints and models and manage component libraries
  • Place components and route signals using Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools
  • Determine optimal PCB layer stackups
  • Generate Gerber and ODB++ manufacturing files
  • Perform 3D clearance checks using CAD models against mechanical enclosures
  • Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities and resolve technical questions with PCB manufacturing partners
  • Optimize PCB designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance
  • Create fabrication and assembly drawings and maintain design documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, and external supplier teams
