Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience as a PCB Designer with a focus on multilayer PCBs
• Proficient in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
• Familiarity with Altium 365 and OrCAD or similar tools
• Solid understanding of IPC standards relevant to PCB design
• Experience handling high-speed electronics with attention to signal integrity
• Knowledge of flexible and rigid-flex circuit assemblies
• Background in PCB manufacturing processes, including design for manufacturability (DFM)

Responsibilities

• Design high-density multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex PCBs
• Perform RF and high-speed signal routing, including impedance control
• Create and manage component footprints and libraries
• Utilize Altium Designer for component placement and signal routing
• Determine PCB layer stackups for optimal performance
• Generate Gerber and ODB++ files for manufacturing
• Conduct 3D clearance checks with CAD models
• Engage in DFM activities and liaise with manufacturing partners
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
• Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings, maintaining thorough documentation
