Job Overview
This role designs, builds, and owns T-Mobile's pursuit intelligence platform (The Machine) - integrating GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, Salesforce, and D&B into an AI-assisted system that drives Go/No-Go decisions and account prioritization for the Pursuit & Capture program. It involves technical leadership through code reviews, coaching engineers, documenting standards, and evolving best practices in data architecture. The role differentiates itself by combining hands-on development with strategic collaboration across leadership and development teams. Success is measured by the effectiveness of data models, adherence to standards, and the ability to support business intelligence strategies. The work impacts the organization by enabling consistent data definitions and improving the efficiency of engineering efforts to meet business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Communicate solution designs clearly using diagrams, documents, and verbal presentations to ensure shared understanding
  • Support senior architects by providing assessments and work-effort estimates during project intake and planning processes
  • Build and maintain API integrations connecting GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, Salesforce, and D&B/Leadership Connect into the pursuit intelligence platform, owning all architecture decisions, data quality SLAs, and documentation
  • Support product lifecycle activities including requirement refinement and data design to align with business needs
  • Build and maintain the account scoring and tiering engine that ingests buying signals, incumbency data, and competitive inputs to produce real-time Go/No-Go scores for Capture Managers
  • Lead strategic, regulatory, and tactical software development lifecycle projects to deliver data architecture solutions
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed


Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Information Technology, Computer Science or Business (Required)
  • 7-10 years Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development, cloud data platform architecture (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake), and Salesforce CRM API integration in a production sales or BD environment. (Required)
  • 7-10 years Progressive experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence. (Required)
  • 7-10 years Experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $116,100 - $209,300

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
