Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Principal, Strategy & Platform Transformation to support enterprise-level strategic initiatives focused on platform transformation, AI-enabled business operations, operational execution, and value realization across the organization.

This role will partner closely with executive leadership to help shape strategic priorities, develop executive-level communications, support transformation initiatives, and drive operational follow-through across high-impact programs. The ideal candidate combines structured problem solving, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable business outcomes.

This role is based in Irvine, California with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Your role:

Strategic Planning & Transformation Support
  • Supports enterprise strategic initiatives through structured analysis, business case development, and operational execution planning.
  • Helps translate strategic priorities into measurable initiatives, KPIs, and execution roadmaps.
  • Identifies business risks, dependencies, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve execution effectiveness.
  • Supports platform transformation, AI-enabled business capabilities, and cross-functional operational initiatives.
  • Conducts market, industry, competitive, and operational research to support leadership decision-making.
  • Assists in the development of executive-level recommendations and strategic options.


Executive Communications & Storytelling
  • Develops executive-ready presentations, strategic narratives, business updates, and leadership materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Synthesizes complex information, operational metrics, and strategic concepts into concise, actionable insights.
  • Supports preparation for executive meetings, leadership reviews, board discussions, analyst engagements, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Builds clear and compelling visual storytelling through PowerPoint and presentation design.


Operational Execution & Business Performance
  • Supports tracking and governance of strategic initiatives, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develops reporting, dashboards, trackers, and operational summaries to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
  • Uses data-driven analysis to identify trends, performance insights, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Collaborates across technology, product, operations, finance, and business teams to drive alignment and execution.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partners closely with senior leaders, functional stakeholders, and transformation teams across the organization.
  • Operates effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with competing priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Supports strategic workshops, planning sessions, and cross-functional coordination activities.


What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of functional experience and 5+ years position specific experience in management consulting, strategy, transformation, business operations, or related field.
  • Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm preferred (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or equivalent).
  • Advanced PowerPoint and executive presentation development skills required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities including modelling, data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and high-visibility business initiatives.
  • Familiarity with platform business models, digital transformation, AI-enabled operations, or technology strategy preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution and follow-through.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,000.00 - $197,200.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
