The Procurement organization is seeking a skilled Supply Chain professional to lead procurement initiatives of moderate complexity in partnership with Subcontracts leadership. In this role, you will collaborate with subcontract program managers and execute strategic purchases for complex engineered items supporting our commercial aerospace programs. You will assist in managing the full procurement lifecycle-from RFQs and negotiations to compliance documentation and issue resolution-ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery. This position plays a key role in advancing product development by driving supplier performance, mitigating logistical risks, and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain operations.
This is a remote position that may have up to 25% travel. Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
What You Will Do - Execute end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes, including RFPs, bid packages, cost analysis, and negotiation preparation.
- Utilize ERP systems to manage supplier execution, monitor material status, and ensure accurate, timely data updates.
- Manage purchase orders from creation through receipt, ensuring on time delivery, cost compliance, and quality performance.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and oversee performance across assigned commodities and programs.
- Monitor contract compliance and supplier adherence to quality, delivery, and commercial requirements.
- Expedite or adjust delivery schedules to resolve shortages, delays, or other supply disruptions.
- Resolve supplier issues including SRIs, ARs, QNs, invoicing discrepancies, receiving issues, and portal concerns.
- Respond to internal and client inquiries regarding order status, shortages, quality issues, and delivery risks.
- Compile price proposals, financial data, and procurement reports to support leadership updates and decision making.
- Collaborate cross functionally with subcontracts, procurement specialists, operations, engineering, finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Perform delivery assurance activities to maintain material availability and support uninterrupted production flow.

Qualifications You Must Have - Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- 2+ years in supply chain and working with suppliers
Qualifications We Prefer - Experience in negotiating
- Experience leading projects or cross functional team
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings - base foundation
- Aerospace or similar manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with Government purchasing (FAR/DFAR)
- Experience supporting product development
