Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity? The Wealth Management Architecture team is driving innovative solutions to accelerate RBC's growth in the US wealth market. In this role, you'll design scalable, enterprise-grade solution architectures that meet RBC standards while advancing our target-state vision. You will be engaged across the full lifecycle-from research and solution development through stakeholder alignment and delivery-partnering across all levels of leadership to translate strategy into results. What will you do? - Designs and implements solution for complex architecture projects, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and stakeholders to analyze business requirements, resolve complex technical challenges, and provide actionable recommendations that influences outcomes.
- Mentors junior architects and technical team members, fostering skill development and promoting best practices within the team.
- Research emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and maintain competitive edge.
- Executes on architecture tasks or projects, requiring advanced problem solving, decision making and strategic thinking with some ambiguity.
- Drives decisions on complex issues to develop clear, actionable recommendations for management, ensuring alignment on processes, tools and services with impact across other areas.
- Leverages advanced and creative skills to resolve complex architecture related problems, fostering cross functional collaboration to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Leads and facilitates cross functional collaboration efforts, fostering strong internal relationships across the organization and external partnerships to achieve impactful business outcomes.
What you need to succeed?
Must have: - Experience in navigating complex a matrixed environment
- Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers and drive clear outcomes
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
- Strong technical background with recent hands-on experience
- A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry (preference is given to candidates with Wealth management experience)
- Ability to provide guidance, recommendation, and decisions in an agile environment
Nice to have: - Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
- Good understanding of architecture practice frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
- Good understanding of AIDLC

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $90,000 - $160,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
