Job DescriptionOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Transformation & Delivery is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our high-impact team supporting the Zero Process Oracle (ZPO) initiative. This program is focused on streamlining critical business processes across Oracle, and you will build the platforms and tools that make it possible.
We need an engineer who can work across the stack-from database to UI-and who brings strong PostgreSQL/SQL experience alongside modern web development skills. You'll support a variety of disciplines as needs evolve, shipping iteratively and adapting quickly. This is a greenfield opportunity to build enterprise-grade applications that will transform how Oracle manages and improves its processes.

Responsibilities- Build and maintain applications supporting the ZPO Process Registry and related tooling
- Design and implement workflow systems with dynamic scoring, validation, and real-time updates
- Develop responsive dashboards and reporting capabilities for multiple user personas (Process Owners, ZPO Team, Leadership)
- Write and optimize SQL/PL/SQL including stored procedures, complex queries, and data model design
- Implement role-based access control and integrate with enterprise identity systems (SSO/MFA)
- Build automated report generation with export capabilities (PDF, PowerPoint, text)
- Integrate AI/ML model outputs into dashboards and interfaces (predictions, recommendations, automated insights)
- Own operational health: monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement
- Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices
Responsibilities- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven delivery of enterprise applications with 5+ years of experience
- Strong JavaScript skills for client-side validation, dynamic interactions, and real-time UI updates
- Experience building enterprise applications with 500+ concurrent users and high availability requirements
- Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles
- Proven ability to mentor and lead other developers in development practices
- Knowledge of Oracle IDCS for SSO/MFA integration patterns
- Experience integrating AI/ML model APIs into applications
- Background in process management or workflow automation applications
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability tuning for large user bases
- Required Skills JavaScript, Responsive Design, PL/SQL, REST APIs, UI/UX Design
QualificationsUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $99,600 to $234,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
