Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented
Principal Software Engineer to join our team at
Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This is
Hybrid position.
Primary Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
- Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrate good judgements in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
- Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems
Required Skills: - Twenty (20) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required or 4 years additional experience might be substituted for a degree.

The projected compensation range for this position is $215,000.00-$250,000.00.There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
