Full Job Description
What You Will Do
• Coordinate across multiple ARTs to ensure alignment, remove impediments, and foster collaboration-always with the goal of improving real-world delivery, not just maintaining process rhythms.
• Facilitate Solution Train-level events (e.g., Pre-/Post-PI Planning, Solution Demos, retrospectives) in ways that are adaptive and responsive to evolving team and program needs.
• Lead by example in questioning existing processes-collaborating with leadership to modernize and streamline business rhythms, including how we plan, budget, and measure progress.
• Partner with RTEs and program stakeholders to improve flow, reduce lag time, and build practical, context-aware improvements into our Agile operating model.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement by helping teams and leaders reflect on how Agile practices are (or aren't) supporting our mission.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to RTEs, Product Management, and other stakeholders, supporting both the spirit and practice of Agile.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with SAFe Agile practices, including leading multi-ART coordination and solution-level planning.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leadership to question the status quo and pursue meaningful change.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile metrics.
• Experience with complex program environments, especially those with legacy business processes, compliance drivers, or funding constraints.
• An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. An active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance that can be crossed over to a TS/SCI security clearance is also acceptable. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
• SAFe Agile certifications are welcome-but real-world experience and lessons learned are even more valuable.
• A strong sense of purpose and flexibility: you adapt frameworks to fit the mission, not the other way around.
• Experience using Agile tools and metrics to thoughtfully guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
