DUTIES: Assess the maturity of the scrum team, providing support and coaching their team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable to the team. Remove impediments and/or guides the team on how to remove impediments. Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies (Daily Standup, Demonstration, Story Point Estimation, Retrospective, Iteration Planning, Backlog Grooming) and fosters continuous improvement. Collaborate with team members, but does not act as a manager, lead developer, Project Manager, or Product Owner. Remove impediments to a team’s productivity by shielding them from outside influences. Empower teams and facilitate creativity while guarding quality and monitoring iteration progress
while striving for successful completion. Represent the team to management. Disseminate information to the team, including metrics and charts. Work with other Scrum Masters to ensure
organizational process improvement. Builds and maintains a trusting and safe environment where problems and issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged. Protect the team from external distractions, allowing the team to focus on the work to which they have committed. Lead and coordinate a Scaled Agile or Agile effort across multiple scrum teams. Routinely sought out for advice and guidance regarding Scaled Agile and/or Agile processes and implementation. Ability to move flexibly across initiatives and teams as needs of the business require. Utilize Generative AI functions to support the migration of automated monitoring scripts from legacy technologies to modern open-source systems. Utilize Java and related technologies (Maven, Microservices, Kubernetes). Use and create automation with Elasticsearch and Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and related observability tooling technologies. Use Jira projects and scrum boards, including ability to implement Jira automation functions.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Java and related technologies (Maven, Microservices,
Kubernetes); using and creating automation with Elasticsearch and Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and observability tooling technologies; and using Jira projects and scrum boards, including ability to implement Jira automation functions.
