In vitro ADME Senior/Principal Scientist - DMPK

Location: Exton, PA
Department: DMPK (Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics)

Position Summary

Frontage Laboratories is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior/Principal Scientist to join our In Vitro ADME group. This is a laboratory-based position responsible for the development, execution, interpretation, and reporting of a broad range of in vitro ADME studies supporting drug discovery and IND-enabling programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, perform, troubleshoot, and interpret a broad range of in vitro ADME studies including metabolic stability, CYP inhibition, time-dependent inhibition (TDI), CYP induction, reaction phenotyping, enzyme kinetics, plasma protein binding, blood-to-plasma partitioning, tissue binding, using LC-MS/MS-based analytical methods.

  • Independently conduct routine and complex ADME assays while ensuring high-quality data generation and timely project completion.
  • Perform sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analysis, data processing, and result interpretation.
  • Prepare study protocols, technical reports, and scientific summaries.
  • Troubleshoot experimental and analytical challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and laboratory safety requirements.
  • Support client discussions by providing scientific expertise in study design and data interpretation.


Education & Requirements
  • Ph.D. or MS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline with more than 5 years of relevant industry experience,

  • Strong hands-on experience with multiple in vitro ADME assays.

  • Extensive experience with LC-MS/MS-based quantitative bioanalysis is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and laboratory problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple studies in a fast-paced CRO environment.
