What You Will Do
We’relooking for Systems Engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, engaging in a dynamic team environment, and are eager to learn. As a Principal Radar Systems Engineer, you willparticipatein challenging multi-disciplinary work consisting of:
Radar Development
Requirements Development, Functional Allocation, Maintenance
Modeling Simulation, and Analysis
Integration & Test of Radar Hardware and Software
Flight Tests and Performance Analysis
Radar System Sell-Off
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires adegree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in radar or RF systems
Experience as a Systems Engineer including two or more of the following: requirements, design; specification development, modeling, simulation, or performance analysis; HW/ SW integration and test and verification
Experience in a technical leadership position
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
Experience with radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration,testand verification
Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory,optimalcontrol, system architecture
Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings
Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirementsand competing priorities.
Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools
EVMS experience
Experience with Agile principles and methodologies
Experience with Jira and Confluence
SAFe Product Owner certification or related industry certification
Experience developing proposals (i.e., developing TINA compliant Basis of Estimates)

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate27s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
