  • Guide the resolution of complex project control issues related to schedule and cost management.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Engineer Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of professionals on major water infrastructure in southern Nevada.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Parsons Corporation is seeking amazingly talented individual to support our Project Controls team with previous experience focused on Water and Waste Water Projects. In this role, you'll help a strong team of multi-disciplined individuals supporting a major water water project in Southern Nevada.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 10+ years of related work experience.

  • Managing Data quality and validation by monitoring schedule, budget, funding, and schedule through the project life cycle.

  • Providing schedule, budget, funding and commitment management.

  • Evaluating capital program and project performance and compliance with established business processes to support consistent and efficient project delivery.  

  • Provides guidance for the resolution of difficult project control problems involving schedule and cost control process management. 

  • Customizes project control systems and processes to meet specific project requirements related to budget and schedule needs.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience with eBuilder / Trimble is a bonus

  • Ability to work with all levels of the project team

  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities and impact of project execution. (High proficiency)

  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices. 

  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, competency with project management information systems and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.

This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
