Job Summary:

Step into a high-visibility role where you'll champion Supermicro's next-generation Ethernet switches - driving product promotion, business development, and market adoption at global scale. You'll work directly with engineering, suppliers, partners, sales, and marketing to position differentiated in-house switch platforms that power AI factories, hyperscale datacenters, and high-performance networks.

This role blends technical depth with commercial influence - leading customer engagements, building strategic supplier and partner relationships, authoring white papers and technical messaging, and translating market signals into winning go-to-market execution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales team to promote switch products
  • Develop promotion plans and execute the plans to meet promotion targets
  • Build strong relationships with target customers
  • Travel periodically to visit customers
  • Work with FAE and business development teams to win customers for switch products
  • Provide pre-sales support


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience in networking, Ethernet switching, datacenter infrastructure, or related technologies, with deep hands-on or product leadership exposure.
  • 12+ years of business development, sales, or marketing experience preferred
  • 15+ years of customer-facing experience preferred
  • CCIE certification (or equivalent expert-level networking expertise) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success supporting business development, partner engagement, customer presentations, and executive-level technical discussions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Effective organization and planning skills
  • Creative thinker, to develop new strategies and solutions
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
  • Solid communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time


Salary Range

$210,000 - $225,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
