Full Job Description
Ingram Micro is looking for an experienced Principal, Product Manager, to drive the roadmap and execution of key master data initiatives that will shape the foundation of how our business operates. This is a critical role in Ingram Micro's company-wide master data transformation journey - building data structures, governance frameworks, and product experiences that power trusted, consistent, and scalable data across the entire enterprise. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver a product vision, prioritize initiatives informed by data, and drive execution in partnership with data engineering, enterprise architecture, and business operations stakeholders. Your role: • Lead the product strategy, vision, and execution for master data initiatives by deeply understanding business needs, data quality challenges, and the evolving enterprise data landscape. • Champion a unified approach to master data - including product, customer, Vendor, and financial data domains - ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization. • Strategize and drive the design of data governance processes, data stewardship workflows, and master data lifecycle management experiences that empower business users and reduce friction. • Collaborate with Experience Design, Engineering, Analytics, Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Operations teams to define, develop, and launch master data solutions and capabilities. • Focus on automation and continuous improvement to eliminate data quality issues, reduce manual data handling, and deliver measurable business outcomes such as time savings, cost reduction, and improved decision-making. • Partner with data and analytics teams to understand how master data flows across systems, identify gaps, and champion initiatives that improve data reliability and trustworthiness enterprise wide. • Monitor and analyze the health and adoption of master data products, using insights to inform the ongoing transformation roadmap. What you bring to the role: • 8-10 years of experience in product management, with a strong preference for experience in data, platform, or enterprise product domains. • Four-year college degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required. • Minimum of 8 years of experience building products or platforms for B2B environments, ideally with exposure to data management, ERP systems, or enterprise data platforms. • Experience working with cross-functional go-to-market and operations teams to drive adoption of internal data products and capabilities across business units. • Familiarity with master data management (MDM) concepts, data governance frameworks, and data quality principles is strongly preferred. • Knowledge of analytics tools such as Looker or Adobe Analytics, as well as data pipeline or integration concepts, preferred. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets and translate them into actionable product decisions. • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority across technical and business stakeholders alike. #LI-LB2 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,400.00 - $226,800.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range. At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
