ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap for the consumption based billing ecosystem, aligning with corporate treasury, finance and GTM teams. Own the long-term vision for building extensible capabilities that support complex, multi-year, sales-led agreements.
- Governance & Security Infrastructure: Design robust, multi-user approval workflows, role-based privileges, and integrate institutional-grade security models
- API & Developer Experience: Champion the developer journey and experiences. .
- Compliance & Treasury Integration: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure the platform meets global regulatory payment and consumption billing standards.

*Required:- 10+ Years of Product Leadership: A proven track record of managing high-impact products within SaaS, PaaS, FinTech, or developer platform ecosystems.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset & Strategic Acumen: A self-starter attitude with a deep understanding of how large B2B organizations, GTM teams, and complex, multi-year enterprise sales cycles operate.
- Consumption Billing: Familiarity with modern lare scale consumption billing infrastructure, enterprise payment and billing management
- Strong Technical Chops: The ability to go deep with engineering teams. You are comfortable discussing architectural trade-offs regarding APIs, scalability, and highly distributed ledger systems.
- Mastery of Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills, with a knack for aligning internal executives, legal/compliance teams, sales orgs, and external enterprise stakeholders.
Desired:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Domain Experience: Prior experience building monetization, billing, pricing engines for top-tier platforms (e.g., AWS, Stripe, Snowflake).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL/analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau), agile delivery frameworks, and a track record of driving cross-functional alignment in remote-first cultures.
LocationThis role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Compensation*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $171,120 - $213,900.
Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $181,200 - $226,500.
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $201,280 - $251,600 .
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
