Principal Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Army Guam Defense System to deliver comprehensive models that enhance product understanding, improve efficiency, and integrate both legacy and new missile systems into a system-of-systems (SoS).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain UAF and/or SysML/UML models, including major systems and subsystems, software, digital architecture, and requirements and specifications.
- Integrate models into system functional models.
- Support system development as an architect to include requirements management, configuration management, data management, risk management, etc.
- Develop and maintain system-of-interest functional and logical models.
- Develop user guides, training, demonstrations, and other resources to promote expansion of model-based systems engineering
- Participate in system requirements reviews and in creating and/or updating requirement specifications and qualification models.
Required Qualifications:- BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline.
- 15+ years of related experience in MBSE, Software, and/or Systems Engineering on complex systems.
- Working knowledge of SysML and MBSE tools such as Magic Draw/Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, DOORS, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of architecture, requirements engineering, verification, test, and system integration.
- Understanding of system interface requirements and requirements management through UAF and/or SysML models.
- Demonstrated ability to master complex technical subjects in a short time.
- Experience developing and presenting briefings to Government customers.
- Goal-oriented with excellent people skills, ability to work well in a team environment, strong work ethic, and self-starting.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and non-MBSE trained people, both in written and verbal forms
- Ability to provide significant contributions in the areas of creative thinking, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance is required
