Responsibilities

Summary : (Fully Remote/Virtual)As a key member of the innovation team, you'll shape the future by transforming concepts into tangible solutions that redefine industry standards. The Principal Innovation Strategist will be responsible for leading change, influencing strategy, and accelerating company growth and opening new revenue streams.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive Innovation by ideating breakthrough solutions that address identified opportunities and risk in the home services industry.
  • Design, build, and iterate prototypes at speed to validate ideas and accelerate decision-making.
  • Lead rapid ideation and hypothesis testing via structured discovery, design experimentation, and iterative prototyping to validate high-impact concepts.
  • Bring concepts to life from ideation to proof-of-concept, collaborating with external partners, innovation team engineers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Use insights and analytics to refine solutions and ensure scalability.
  • Present concepts to executives and stakeholders, shaping the innovation roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align innovation initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Monitor and measure the success of innovative efforts using key performance indicators.
  • Champion change management and support teams in adapting to new processes and technologies.
  • Define role scope by proactively setting priorities, success criteria, and operating rhythms where formal processes don't yet exist.
  • Steward a fluid, forward-thinking innovation roadmap.
  • May assume other duties as applied.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • Provenexperience in product development, or strategy roles.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with design thinking, agile methodologies, and lean startup principles.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools.
  • R&D lead & leadership experience at a startup.

Physical Role Requirements :Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, technology, or a related field.

Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) : 10+ years of relevant experience required

Travel : Up to 20%

This role pays between $154,676.00 - $212,680.00/Yr, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
