Full Job Description
Serves as Truist Leadership Institute's principal-level learning, leadership development, and executive coaching expert responsible for delivering highly complex, high-impact leadership solutions that build organizational capability and improve business performance. Leads large-scale learning and leadership development initiatives, partners with senior leaders and executives to assess capability gaps, and designs strategic learning, coaching, and consulting interventions for leaders, teams, and enterprise stakeholders. Provides thought leadership in adult learning, instructional design, leadership development, executive coaching, and organizational effectiveness while advancing learning innovation, measurement, and leadership capability across the organization. *****Position is an in-office role, 5 days each week, at the location noted. This is NOT a remote position.****** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Recommends and implements enterprise learning and leadership development strategies aligned to organizational priorities, leadership capability needs, and long-term business objectives. 2. Leads the design, development, and delivery of highly complex, enterprise programs, executive development experiences, leadership forums, and strategic leadership interventions. 3. Provides thought leadership in adult learning, instructional design, leadership development, executive coaching, team effectiveness, and organizational development practices. 4. Partners with senior leaders, executives, and enterprise stakeholders to assess organizational capability gaps and design strategic learning, coaching, and consulting solutions that address complex business and leadership challenges. 5. Delivers executive coaching, senior leadership development, and team effectiveness engagements requiring advanced judgment, credibility, facilitation skill, executive presence, and adaptability. 6. Oversees major learning and leadership initiatives that span divisions, functions, lines of business, or enterprise stakeholder groups. 7. Evaluates the effectiveness, business impact, and return on investment of learning, leadership development, and coaching solutions and recommends enhancements to improve outcomes. 8. Guides the selection, engagement, and management of external learning, coaching, consulting, or leadership development partners to ensure quality, consistency, and strategic alignment. 9. Mentors and coaches learning professionals, consultants, facilitators, and project teams across the organization to build capability, strengthen delivery quality, and promote knowledge sharing. 10. Champions innovation in learning technologies, coaching methods, delivery models, leadership development practices, and measurement approaches. 11. Represents the learning and leadership development function in enterprise forums and contributes to broader human capital strategy discussions, leadership capability planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Master's degree in Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership Studies, Counseling, or a related field, or equivalent education and related experience 2. 10 or more years of experience in consulting, coaching, leadership development, organizational development, HR, counseling, education, or related field 3. International Coaching Federation coaching certification or equivalent executive coaching credential, or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe 4. Demonstrated mastery of adult learning theory, instructional design, enterprise learning strategy, leadership development, and organizational capability-building practices. 5. Proven experience leading large-scale, complex learning, leadership development, or organizational effectiveness initiatives with enterprise impact 6. Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders, executives, or enterprise stakeholders to assess needs, frame complex problems, influence decisions, and design effective learning, coaching, or consulting solutions 7. Strong executive presence, facilitation capability, written and verbal communication skills, relationship management skills, and professional judgment Preferred Qualifications: 1. Doctoral degree psychology, organizational leadership, organizational development, business, education, human resources, or relevant field 2. Background in business, organizational development, talent management, HR management, or executive education 3. Advanced ICF credential, team coaching credential, assessment certifications, or established recognition as a thought leader/practice expert 4. Experience in the financial services industry 5. Experience leading enterprise transformation, executive education, strategic accounts, or market-facing consulting practices General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
