Position Description

We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to support enterprise-wide Application Portfolio Management (APM), Technology Portfolio Management (TPM), and modernization initiatives within a large financial services environment.

This role will help mature how application and technology portfolios are assessed, governed, rationalized, and modernized. The Principal Enterprise Architect will establish portfolio frameworks, improve traceability across business capabilities and technology assets, and transform architecture information into structured data that supports informed investment and modernization decisions.

The role will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Product, Engineering, and Portfolio Management teams and utilize enterprise architecture platforms such as ARIS, Alfabet, or comparable tools.

Experience supporting modernization initiatives within AWS-heavy cloud environments is highly valuable.

Required Qualifications

  • Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $129,100 - $226,200, depending on skills, experience, training, certifications, and other relevant factors.
