Full Job Description
This is a remote opportunity in the United States.

What you'll be challenged to do:

The Principal Designer, BIM is responsible for facilitating the production of technical deliverables at submission periods, checking conformance to client CAD design standards and meeting industry best practices.

Essential Responsibilities will Include:

  • Preparing high quality plans by utilizing engineering calculations, notes, sketches, etc. as prepared by engineers.
  • Providing clear and detailed plan preparation work, compliant with accepted design/drafting standards of the client including manuals, standard figures and plans, or other resources.
  • Understanding the terminology, technology, and other concepts related to Water and Wastewater projects.
  • Facilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the team.
  • Developing and implementing operations procedures, methods and work systems to ensure effective and efficient internal operations.
  • Incorporating and compiling multiple sub-plans/designs into consolidated master plan.
  • Quality review (QC/QA) of CAD files and submission drawings


What you will bring to our Firm:

  • 15 years experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, ProjectWise, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $115,000

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
