DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems would like you to join our team as a
Principal Cyber Systems Administrator. Places of performance for this position are
Annapolis Junction MD, San Antonio TX, Aurora CO, and Carey, NC.
What You'll Get to Do:- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma with 10 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.
Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph
The Level 1 System Administrator (SA) shall possess the following capabilities: Experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
- Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
- Managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems Providing assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
- Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
- Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- CNO development concepts

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $155,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
