DescriptionWe are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Cyber Software Engineer based out of Annapolis Junction.
What You'll get to Do:The Principal Cyber Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Basic Qualifications:- A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- 5 years engineering experience is required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Experience designing and coding new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Experience debugging existing software and correct defects.
- Must obtain customer approval
Preferred qualifications:- Java Development• JavaScript • SQL
- Spring Framework Experience.
- AngularJS Framework Experience.
- Web Application Development.
- Ability to develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.

Primary Level Salary Range: $125,300.00 - $187,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
