Overview

Join our team as a Principal Consultant, Strategic Communications and support GSA's Center for Emerging Building Technologies (CEBT) by providing high-level program management and strategic oversight across a portfolio of emerging building technology evaluations. You will facilitate CEBT strategic and Technical Committee meetings, lead annual innovation planning sessions, and prepare executive-ready briefing materials and summary reports, ensuring consistent, well-coordinated program execution and clear communication of results to GSA leadership and stakeholders.

 

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Central Time.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic planning and facilitation for a multi-stakeholder technology evaluation program, including Technical Committee meetings, program director check-ins, and annual innovation planning sessions
  • Design and run high-visibility offsites and workshops, from agenda-setting through stakeholder engagement and executive briefing prep
  • Turn meeting outcomes into clear, actionable summary reports and strategic communications for program leadership
  • Guide technology selection processes, including vendor presentations and structured decision-making sessions
  • Oversee project closeout — confirming deliverables are complete, documentation is organized, and lessons learned are captured
  • Own monthly program reporting, keeping leadership current on progress, budget, and upcoming priorities

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • High-level program management and strategic oversight experience with multi-stakeholder federal programs
  • Proven experience coordinating with federal agencies and national laboratories, and delivering time-sensitive deliverables in complex organizational environments
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical information into executive-ready materials and facilitate stakeholder meetings
