At a glance:The NSPB Principal Consultant provides deep technical and functional expertise utilizing industry experience, business analysis, best practices and a pragmatic mindset to facilitate clients' most complex planning and performance management requirements. This individual serves as a hands-on Principal Consultant responsible for the full lifecycle implementation of NSPB solutions integrated with NetSuite. The Principal Consultant will contribute to SOW development for new and existing customers.
Your Role:- Ability to lead and act as a Principal Consultanton full-cycle NSPB implementation projects integrated with NetSuite, with varying levels of size and complexity, by translating complex business requirements and processes into scalable EPM technical designs in a remote or in-person capacity as requested by the client, including but not limited to video or onsite interaction
- Solution delivery responsibilities span all project phases, including: discovery, design, build, testing, training, and deployment. Acts as the highest level of escalation on technical and solution issues within delivery teams
- Perform fit/gap analysis on business requirements en route to system design and execution
- Design and build multidimensional planning models, metadata structures, business rules, calculations, dashboards, and data integrations within NSPB
- Develop and implement robust integrations between NSPB and NetSuite, including data mappings, transformation logic, and automation frameworks
- Develop technical architecture, data flow diagrams, and integration frameworks to support customer requirements and overall business process discovery
- Collaborate and work closely with in-house development and functional teams to implement custom solutions. Develop these custom solutions in clear and comprehensive Technical Design Documents
- Lead data integration strategy and execution between NSPB and NetSuite as well as other upstream/downstream systems when applicable
- Act proactively and as a trusted client advocate during engagements by providing EPM and NetSuite planning best practices
- Contribute to various internal MHI initiatives including solution accelerators and ongoing EPM education
- Willingness to learn and develop NSPB product skills in all areas as required by customer engagements
- This role may require flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, which may be necessary to meet project deadlines or address unforeseen circumstances during engagements
- Limited travel is expected for this role and may vary based on client and project demands
Your Background:- 8-10+ years of relevant EPM, FP&A systems, or consulting experience with a high degree of specialization in planning and performance management solutions
- Undergraduate degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or relevant field
- Strong background in finance/accounting, FP&A processes, consulting and advisory services
- Individual has led and acted in a Solution Architect capacity across varying project sizes and complexity; from small through enterprise-level EPM implementations
- Individual has multiple end-to-end NSPB implementations and has strong hands-on NSPB technical/functional implementation experience
- Hands-on NetSuite experience is required, including strong understanding of NetSuite data structures and financial processes
- Strong knowledge of multidimensional modeling, business rules, and planning frameworks
- Experience and knowledge of best practices surrounding EPM technical capabilities such as: data integrations, REST APIs, Groovy scripting, calculation optimization, and security design
- Experience integrating NSPB specifically with NetSuite strongly preferred

A reasonable estimated salary range for this position is $130,000 - 160,000 USD. Total compensation for this role also will include a quarterly incentive plan with the potential for an additional $5,000 to $100,000 per year. This position and compensation range is for candidates who reside in the United States. Our compensation ranges and packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate. It is not a common practice or guaranteed for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and compensation decisions are determined using a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to; skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific location due to cost of living & labor considerations; All of which will be considered during the interview and offer process. Salary ranges and incentive plans will differ in other countries in which MHI pays local currency.
