RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Northrop Grumman Space Systems 6issile Defense Integration offers an excellent opportunity for a Principal Computer Systems Analyst (26-319) to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. Based in Colorado Springs, CO, or Huntsville, AL, this role is essential to supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels. This position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options. Position Overview: The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is an essential part of the Missile Defense System. It provides a critical operational platform that enables the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to: 3 Systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations 3 Monitor battle progress in real time 3 Dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives C2BMC delivers layered missile defense capabilities that provide an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It serves as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both globally and regionally, to improve overall performance. C2BMC is also a key component of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities. We are seeking a Systems Analyst to join the C2BMC Regional Applications Analysis team, working closely with the C2BMC Chief Analyst to assess system behavior, support test and operational scenarios, and provide actionable insights to program leadership and customers. Essential Functions: In this role, you will: 3 Perform analysis, root cause troubleshooting, and behavior assessments of C2BMC software in development, ground tests, and operational environments 3 Support scenario execution and analysis for test events, exercises, and operational runs, ensuring C2BMC capabilities are thoroughly evaluated against mission objectives 3 Execute automated analysis tools and apply manual techniques to evaluate software capabilities, system performance, and behaviors in an integrated, multi-system environment 3 Interpret and synthesize large volumes of data (logs, metrics, displays, and reports) to characterize system behavior, identify anomalies, and quantify performance against requirements 3 Interface with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts, including systems engineering, software development, integration and test, operations, and mission analysis 6to: Define analysis approaches and objectives, Set up and configure scenarios and test conditions and Assist with anomaly reproduction and resolution 3 Develop clear, concise analysis products, including reports, briefings, and visualizations, to communicate findings and recommendations to customers, stakeholders, and leadership 3 Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and debriefs to present analysis results and support data-driven decision-making 3 Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis tools, processes, and methodologies to increase rigor, repeatability, and efficiency 3 Support the C2BMC Chief Analyst and Regional Applications teams with ad hoc analyses and special studies as mission needs evolve Basic Qualifications: Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. 3 A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Masters degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree 3 Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start 3 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to investigate complex technical issues and derive clear, data-driven conclusions 3 Ability to interpret system behavior from logs, metrics, displays, and test artifacts, and to connect observed behavior to requirements and design intent 3 Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly document analysis methods, results, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences 3 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and to interface professionally with customers and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: 3 Experience with C2BMC, missile defense systems, or other command and control/battle management systems 3 Familiarity with system analysis tools, data visualization tools, and scripting for automation of analysis tasks 3 Experience supporting software development, integration, or test events in complex, distributed systems 3 Background in systems engineering, operations research, applied mathematics, or a related technical discipline 3 Experience participating in ground and/or flight tests, including planning, execution support, and post9event analysis What We Can Offer You: Northrop Grumman offers a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that fosters your growth, supporting both your success and the companys. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
