Position Summary

The Business Architect will be tasked with connecting business strategy, operating models, process design, and technology execution. The role is responsible for defining and optimizing business capabilities, value streams, processes, and architecture roadmaps so that transformation initiatives are scalable, future-ready, and aligned to enterprise priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the enterprise-wide business architecture vision and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and digital transformation goals.
  • Lead the integration of Business architecture with Enterprise, System, Solution, and Data architecture, enabling end-to-end business agility within and across value streams.
  • Serve as the lead business architecture advisor to executive leadership, influencing investment decisions, transformation priorities, and organizational design.
  • Architect and oversee large-scale business transformation programs or operating model evaluations/redesigns, ensuring business outcomes are achieved.
  • Build and lead communities of practice for business architects and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Align business strategy, operating models, processes, data, and technology solutions to create scalable and future-ready business capabilities.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ten (10) or more years of relevant IT experience and/or business domain experience, including five (5) or more years of relevant business architecture experience required.
  • Digital Transformation experience preferred.
  • Experience building capability maps, customer journeys, value streams, and designing target operating models preferred.
  • Experience leading elements of large transformation projects including facilitation of multi-stakeholder (process design, capability mapping, executive alignment) workshops, influencing without authority, and driving cross-functional decisions preferred.
  • Experience establishing business architecture as a discipline preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Certified Business Architect preferred.
  • MBA preferred.

Process orchestration typically involves integrating disparate systems, applications, and services to streamline operations and improve collaboration across different parts of an organization. It often employs workflow management tools, automation software, and integration platforms to facilitate communication, data exchange, and decision-making among different components of the process. The goal of process orchestration is to optimize the flow of work, minimize delays and bottlenecks, and enhance overall productivity and performance.
