About the Role:As a CBRE Business Solutions, Insights & Performance Principal, you will be responsible for strategic insight and advisory support to Property Management's Asset Management team. This role focuses on translating market intelligence, portfolio analytics, and macroeconomic trends into actionable guidance that informs asset-level strategy, portfolio positioning, and investor messaging. You will leverage your expertise to lead data science and research initiatives within institutional real estate. This position partners closely with Asset Management leadership to help shape investment strategy, portfolio narratives, and market perspectives across institutional portfolios.

What You'll Do:Strategic Advisory
- Provide high-level strategic insight across institutional real estate portfolios to support leadership.
- Evaluate market conditions, capital markets, and portfolio performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Deliver situational analysis to support major asset decisions including leasing strategy, capital improvements, recapitalizations, and dispositions.
Portfolio Intelligence
- Translate complex portfolio data into clear, executive-level insights for leadership and investors.
- Identify leading market indicators that may impact asset performance and portfolio positioning.
- Develop strategic perspectives that support portfolio positioning and long-term value creation.
Investment Narrative & Executive Messaging
- Assist in crafting investment narratives, portfolio strategies, and investor communications.
- Translate data-driven analysis into compelling market insights and thought leadership.
- Support executive messaging that strengthens CBRE's position with institutional clients.
Platform Development
- Contribute to the strategic development of CBRE's Asset Management team.
- Help establish differentiated insight capabilities that enhance CBRE's ability to win and manage institutional mandates.
- Identify opportunities to integrate advanced analytics and market intelligence into workflows.
- Provide strategic perspective that supports the growth and positioning of CBRE's third-party asset management platform with institutional clients.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
- Ability to identify and solve the most complex problems.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
- Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Principal, Asset Management Data & Analytics position is $225,500 annually and the maximum salary for the Principal, Asset Management Data & Analytics position is $240,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
